Designed by Giusto Toso for Leucos in the late 1960s, the Panta wall light takes the form of a luminous sculpture reduced to an essential geometry. Its large circular diffuser in blown Murano glass, transparent and subtly opalescent, has the profile of a lens with gently irregular contours. Held in place by a central mount in aluminium, the glass modulates the light through its varying thicknesses, creating concentric halos and almost aquatic reflections on the wall.
Works by Giusto Toso are held in several prestigious institutions, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Corning Museum of Glass, although the presence of Panta itself in their collections has not been confirmed to date.

Giusto Toso is an Italian designer whose work belongs to the great tradition of Murano glass lighting. Active from the 1970s onward, he contributed to the renewal of Italian lighting design by exploring the expressive possibilities of blown glass, balancing transparency, light diffusion, and formal experimentation. Working notably with Leucos, he developed luminaires in which the mastery of traditional glassmaking techniques engages in dialogue with the demands of contemporary production. His creations are distinguished by a restrained and elegant approach, grounded in the balance between material, light, and architecture. The Panta wall light exemplifies this pursuit through its refined design and subtle treatment of the luminous presence of glass, characteristic of an Italian design attentive to the quality of materials and to the atmospheric dimension of lighting.
