Enzo Mari

Enzo Mari is one of the most influential figures in twentieth-century Italian design, renowned for a practice grounded in research, constructive simplicity, and a critical reflection on the function of objects. As an artist, designer, and theorist, he developed a body of work in which rigorous design is combined with a deep attention to use, materials, and manufacturing processes. His collaboration with Danese Milano, beginning in the 1960s, represents an essential chapter in his career and gave rise to objects that have become emblematic of modern Italian design.
